What are the General Conditions of Sale?
The e-commerce store Forn de sa Plaça is here to sell its own products and the products of third parties with whom it has a signed contract. Accessing the website and the making of purchases via electronic commerce on www.forndesaplaça.com implies acceptance of these conditions of use.
- Access to the service is through direct registration on the website.
- The online contract is entered into through the following procedures:
- Choose the products you want to buy by clicking on the "Add to cart" button.
- At the end of the selection of products go to the shopping cart (which allows you the possibility of rectifying, deleting or correcting errors in the selection of products).
- In order to follow the purchasing process you must register as a customer, creating a registered customer account. Follow the steps requested by the system, such as in relation to shipping address, billing information, etc.
- After this step, all the information requested during the purchasing process will appear on the screen and you will end by confirming the order.

Is the product permanently available?
Forn de sa Plaça always has in stock the products offered in the store; otherwise, you can see in the online store whether the product is sold out or how much of that stock we have in at that time. However, in the event of any problem once you have purchased the product, we will contact the customer, either by e-mail or by phone, to communicate what may have happened.
If the delivery period is too long for the customer, he will have the option to cancel the order and we will notify him when the product is back in stock.
Is there a minimum order?
The minimum orders are those indicated in our product catalogue. It is not possible to place orders for products that do not appear in it or for quantities lower or higher than those indicated in the catalogue.
Is the price that appears in the product catalogue the total price?
All the prices that appear in the product information include the VAT corresponding to the type of product. The prices are expressed in euros (€). The applicable price will be the one that appears at the time the customer makes the purchase. The published prices are valid until the end of the validity of the offer.
The shipping costs are included in the price of the product, but they are given during the purchase process and will depend on the place of shipment and on weight. The company reserves the right to change the prices of products without prior notice.
And shipping costs?
Shipping costs are included in the final price of the order. These may vary depending on the weight, packaging and destination of the order.
What forms of payment do we take?
Payment of purchases is made by bank card. The information of bank cards accepted are in our web.
In case of payment by card, we will send a debit request to your bank within 24 hours; the amount will not be debited from your account until you obtain authorization from your bank. The debiting period will depend on the rules applied to your form of payment (immediate debit, deferred, etc). In case of rejection by the bank, the order will be automatically cancelled and the customer will be informed by e-mail.
Customers must guarantee that they are fully authorized to use the payment card. Only people with the necessary legal capacity to sign contracts related to the kind of goods offered on this website can place orders in the online store of "Forn de sa Plaça".
By clicking on the button "Buy" during the process of placing an order, the customer declares full acceptance of and without reservation all these General Conditions of Sale that, in any case, may be filed and printed out by customers for their reproduction as they consider necessary.
In accordance with the legislation in force and for the security and confidentiality of your data, "Forn de sa Plaça" will not save the information related to bank details.
It will be the client´s responsibility to save and print out their bank transfer if they wish to keep the bank details related to their transaction.
"Forn de sa Plaça" never has access to confidential information regarding means of payment.
What is the minimum age for a customer to make a purchase?
To be able to place an order the customer must be a minimum of 18 years old.
How is the shipment made?
All shipments that arrive before 12:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday will be prepared the same day they are ordered. However, all those ordered after that time will be prepared and will leave the next day. On Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays we do not prepare orders, so the order will be prepared the next working day.
When do the orders arrive?
For national shipments (except for Ceuta, Melilla and Canary Islands), the transport agency picks up the orders daily, delivering them to the destination in 48 or 72 hours. Pickups are made from Monday to Thursday (not Holidays), so orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday do not leave until Monday. In case of a Public Holiday, the order will be issued the next working day if that does not coincide with a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Certain products are expressly made to order. For this reason our workroom will receive the request the day after we receive the order as long as this is on a working day, which can increase the delivery period by one or two days, depending on the manufacturing process .
For international shipments the delivery time will vary depending on the country where the order is delivered.
Why are orders for Thursday and Friday not received until Monday or Tuesday?
The orders received on Thursday are prepared following the same policy as the other orders, but having a weekend in between, the carrier will not deliver the goods until the beginning of the following week.
The difference exists in the orders prepared on Friday that will not leave our products until Monday to avoid their deterioration in the transport company´s warehouses.
What if there is no one at home when the courier arrives?
If when the courier arrives there is no one at home, he will leave a note indicating that he has been to make the delivery. The note will contain the telephone number of the transport agency of the area. Normally, when the order can not be delivered, it is left for the next day, unless the client prefers to pick up the order in person from the transport agency. In these cases we recommend that you telephone so that the agency can guide you more accurately. It is also possible that when not being able to deliver the order, they will call you by phone to specify another day of delivery.
Do we offer technical assistance and after-sales service?
We make available to all our customers an after-sales service that will respond to any incident, doubt or query that may arise from purchases made in the online store of Forn de sa Plaça by sending an email to administracio@forndesaplaça.com (Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm). Technical assistance and after-sales service operates on working days. On Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays it is closed.
What precautions should I take into account at the time of delivery and return of an order?
When dealing with food products, returns are only accepted if the product in question is not in a condition fit for consumption, as long as the client communicates this fact within the first 14 calendar days (Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays included) from its reception. In this event, Forn de sa Plaça will verify that this is the case. After 14 days no returns will be accepted.
To exercise this right of return, you must communicate by e-mail to the address administracio@forndesaplaça.com before the end of the period indicated above and indicating your order number, reference and serial number of the products to be returned, following the instructions received through our Customer Service Team.
All merchandise must be returned in perfect condition, with its original packaging in perfect condition and with all its accessories, as originally received. Forn de sa Plaça does not accept returned products where half the product has been tried, or where the packaging is in poor condition due to incorrect use.
For the return of products, the following procedure must be followed:
1. During the 14 days following the reception of the order, the customer must send a photograph showing the problem with the products received (erroneous order, products in poor condition, etc) to administracio@forndesaplaça.com writing in the word "incidencia" and indicating at all times the order number and a list of products that were part of it.
2. Once the return request has been received, the Customer Service Team will contact the customer within a maximum of 72 hours of working days (Public Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays not included), to coordinate the return. In each case, the Customer Service representative will indicate the procedure to be followed for the collection or delivery of the products to be returned. This procedure will depend on the location in which the customer resides.
The transportation costs originated by the return will be borne by the customer.
Once the perfect condition of the merchandise has been ascertained, our Customer Service Team will contact the customer who will be able to decide whether he wants new products sent or the amounts involved refunded (product price + shipping costs); the latter will be returned to the customer before the end of the course of the term of 14 calendar days from the request, using the same means of payment employed by the customer for the purchase.
The right of return will not proceed in the following cases:
- In the case of goods that may deteriorate or expire quickly.
- In the case of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health or hygiene and that have been unsealed after delivery.
- In the case of goods that after their delivery and taking into account their nature have been mixed inseparably with other goods.
Returns of orders that are already open and that show signs of consumption and/or handling will not be accepted.
Modification of the General Conditions of Sale
Forn de sa Plaça reserves the right to modify the General Conditions of Sale without prior notice and may change, delete or add to both the content and services provided and the way in which they are presented or located on their servers. These changes will have to be accepted by the user each time he effects a purchase. For this reason, the page must be reviewed frequently or each time the product is purchased.
If any clause of these General Conditions of Contract is declared totally or partially null or void, it will affect only that provision or the part that is null or void, and in all other respects, the rest of the General Conditions will subsist. There will be such a provision for the part that is affected not being fixed unless, because it is essential in these General Conditions, it would affect them as a whole.
These general conditions are governed by Spanish law. The parties submit, at their discretion, for the resolution of conflicts and renouncing any other jurisdiction, to the courts and tribunals of the domicile of the company.
